Prof. Mi Jianqing, MD, PhD, is Director of Clinical Hematology at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and a core principal investigator at the Shanghai Institute of Hematology (founded by Lasker Laureate Academician Wang Zhenyi and Academician Chen Zhu). He stands at the global forefront of CAR-T cellular immunotherapy and targeted differentiation therapy for refractory blood cancers.

Leading one of Asia's most productive clinical cellular therapy programs, Prof. Mi has designed and executed groundbreaking commercial and investigator-initiated trials (IIT) for anti-CD19, anti-BCMA, and next-generation dual-targeted (CD19/CD22) CAR-T constructs. His clinical team has treated over 1,200 patients with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and multiple myeloma, achieving complete remission rates exceeding 80%.

Prof. Mi's translational laboratory operates within the National Center for Translational Medicine at Ruijin Hospital. He has pioneered innovative protocols for mitigating cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS), establishing international safety benchmarks for heavily pre-treated international hematology candidates.
